Using a program to help run those 6 characters? That's just lazy, not hardcore.

↑ “ I can agree that running 6 characters is hardcore.
EZ SERVER HASTEN BOOTSTRUTTER CODE
The most fair and just solution would always have been to disallow and enforce third party programs (and actually enforce them unlike how they don't do much beyond the code itself on truebox servers) and allow boxing on the same box, but they simply didn't make the fairest choice. As for hotkeys, even single account players set up hotkeys, so if someone's got 2-3 characters and hotkeys on all of them, tabbing between them and hitting 4 for your nuke spell isn't hardcore. The effort required for even one extra account is therefore harder core. Megaboxers aside, those who would casually box 2-3, which doesn't require programs, with truebox they are forced to either use those technically disallowed but poorly enforced workarounds, or else set up multiple boxes.
EZ SERVER HASTEN BOOTSTRUTTER MANUAL
Although, let's remember that some are working around truebox code and benefitting from lack of manual enforcement. Without truebox, it's true that the megaboxers are able to work their magic, and yes, the megaboxers are hardcore. Obviously there might be some that don't raid at all and throw lots of cash into kronos to just buy it, but then, they do that on every single new TLP that starts in Classic already it just starts to end after Velious.Īs for the bolded, you're right about what the evidence says, but coming to the opposite conclusion of what the evidence means. The most successful casual players on open trade loot are those that raid some and buy some. No trade loot means every piece must be personally looted, which generally means being harder core. It's not that easy all the time since prices are high enough you can't just go and buy a suit of raid loot in one night, but it makes it possible. Since Classic and kunark are highly tradeable anyway, I'm obviously talking about Velious and beyond, but basically, open trade loot allows casuals to buy loot. I really hope Daybreak isn’t even considering allowing this ”FV is absolutely pro-casual. I’d argue the very act of setting up multiple accounts, programs and hotkeys in order to run 6+ characters at the same time is the very definition of hardcore play. You multi boxers need to stay as far away from the casual server as possible. ↑ “ Construed as casual? Removing truebox and adding FV is the exact opposite of casual.
