They were told balloons were not allowed and they held them in the front. (My husband always remove his hat once we're seated) My daughter and son in law arrived and they had gifts for me along with 3 balloons. So, my husband and I were shocked that he was asked to remove his hat walking to our table. Only to see that some people were dressed in jeans and some very little clothing. We were also advised there was a dress code, which we didn't mind because we love to dress up and dine out. My husband and I arrived first and was advised they were running 15 minutes behind. This was my first Mother's Day without my mother, she recently passed. In hopes of making this a really special evening for me. My daughter and son in law made 6:00pm reservations for Mother's Day, A table for 4. I like what they’re trying to do and I’m always happy to support a local business. I guess it’s more about the vibe (which is great), than the actual menu. A bit overpriced for what you actually get. Would be nice if the sandwiches came with a side chips, or a side of something. They didn’t allow for any substitutions/changes. The egg & cheese sandwich was rather greasy. That is what the menu says, but seems silly to pay $6.50 for a bowl of lettuce. The leafy green salad was literally just a bowl of greens. REVIEW UPDATE: Came back for lunch recently and was a little disappointed. Looks like there is a nice outdoor seating area too…I’ll be swinging back by when the weather warms up! Make a trip over, you’ll be glad you did. Driving by you would never expect this place to have such a cool interior. Small table seating and bar area (not ideal for large groups-more of an intimate/quaint setting). Perfect place for lunch, coffee or a glass of wine. I am definitely going to be coming back here for another special occasion as I can count on their staff treating us extremely well hats off to the staff, to the chef who made our food, and to the well versed historian, they respected and honored our time, our patronage and our visit it could not have been a better night. The historian took us around many parts of the house giving us a bunch of facts about the home and the tile and the brick and the electrical wiring and the history of some of the rooms and what they used to be it was just absolutely the best service I have ever had in a restaurant.

The portions were a little bit smaller than expected but all in all I was full and I was happy and they treated us very well. This was literally VIP treatment that we got the owner came in and shook our hands and we were then taken around by a historian after our dinner which was amazing. Their customer service is insanely good, our table was wobbly so they put us in the VIP room where it was a single room with a single table with lounge chairs around it.
